She recently sent out a donation pitch with a cover note packed with disinformation and outright lies. I love exposing B.S. like this, so here goes. Price’s cover note is lengthy, so I’ll comment only on the silliest statements.

San Francisco has now joined a host of other complainants, including Gov. Gavin Newsom, in urging the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn an earlier Circuit Court decision requiring municipalities to offer homeless people shelter before clearing encampments.
Cops too often are victims of ambulance-chasing lawyers
Almost every day seems to bring news of a massive financial award paid by police departments to the families of men who were killed by police officers. The latest example is that of Erik Salgado, who was shot and killed by the California Highway Patrol in East Oakland in 2020. The CHP just paid his family $7 million.
Solving problems
There’s a group within the Congress of the United States called the Problem Solvers Caucus, which describes itself as “an independent member-driven group in Congress, comprised of representatives from across the country – equally divided between Democrats and Republicans – committed to finding common ground on many of the key issues facing the nation.” The group believes “that there are commonsense solutions to many of the country's toughest challenges,” if only politicians will “break through the gridlock of today’s politics.”
Memorials: Taylor yes, Wu no, say Black activists
I had a meeting yesterday at OPD, and walking down Broadway I came to Latham Square, with its sculpture of Breonna Taylor. And I have to say that I wondered, “Where’s the memorial for Jasper Wu?”
