Happy Thanksgiving
I’m grateful for many things in my life, but one of the best is the support I get from you, my readers. Your many positive comments on my blog give me more comfort than you can imagine. You tell me I speak for you. If that’s true, it’s because I sense your unspoken thoughts, and God has given me the ability to articulate them.
I’ll continue to write as long as I am able. Meanwhile, as you gather around the Thanksgiving table with your families and loved ones, please accept my sincere thanks and holiday wishes. If you happen to be alone this Thanksgiving, find comfort within your own self.

That’s one of the shocking conclusions of “Taboo: 10 Facts You Can’t Talk About,” a book by Wilfred Reilly, a Black professor who teaches at the University of Kentucky.
