I wrote yesterday about how Fife called the cops for help when some of her people were allegedly attacked--a supreme irony since she wants to abolish OPD. The news was announced in the Daily Mail. Today, I thought it would be amusing to publish some of the 181 comments the Daily Mail has received, about half from America and the rest from Britain and the Commonwealth. Obviously, a lot of these comments are snarky, but none of them defends Fife, and they all testify to the low regard that normal people have for defund-the-police types like Fife. Wokeism, it turns out, is just as unpopular in Britain as it is in America. By the way, I actually think a solid case can be made for refusing police services to wokes like Carroll Fife, as many remarked.

You may have heard (it didn’t make the local news, as far as I’m aware) that our own Carroll Fife—she who hates the police, who calls them racists, who repeatedly has tried to defund them and put them out of business—yes, that Carroll Fife was forced to call the Oakland Police Department after three of her canvassers in Uptown were “assaulted” (in her words) by armed men, who then fled the scene.
